I am the designated Christmas cookie maker every year. And my mom slyly depends on me to make her (and my!!!) favorite cookies – anise cookies. It doesn’t matter which recipe I use, as long as I show up at her house with anise cookies. This year I’ll definitely be breaking out my springerle molds, but I have my own anise spritz cookie recipe that is really both the easiest and my absolute favorite. I’ll get that up on the site soon!
